Meet Dr. Wolk and Hibiscus Women's Care LLC {Brevard County Photographer}

Over the past couple of months I have been working with Natrina, the amazing office manager at Hibiscus Women's Care LLC in Melbourne. I reached out to Natrina to market Trisha Harris Photography in their waiting room. She was so kind to talk with me and work with me. One of the things she wanted for the office was to have some updated shot of the staff and also one of their patients to be featured as well. So we worked together to make this happen.

I worked with sweet Wyatt and his family for the patient portion back in April. He was such a sweet little boy and his parents were so great to allow us to work with them to use for marketing purposes. You can read that blog again here.

Then we worked together to get the staff photos up to date. When looking at their website their staff photos were all jumbled and of poor quality. There was no consistency with the style of photos and that can really hurt a website. So I set up a studio in their waiting area on their early day. We took staff photos of everyone and even got a group shot in. We also took some shots of the office and location. When you are running a busy office like theirs, sometimes the website gets put on the back burner. So I am glad we were able to work together to move towards getting this updated.

Dr. Wolk and his team were wonderful to work with. (he also delivered my baby).  Dr. Wolk has been in practice for over 20 years and practicing women's health care here in Melbourne for the last 10 years. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrician and Gynecologist and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrician and Gynecologist.  Dr. Wolk and his team cover a vast amount of women's health related services to include: pregnancy test, genetic screening, pregnancies, postpartum care, in house ultrasounds, in office blood draw, VBACs, deliveries, well women exams, endometriosis, fibroids and much more.

In addition, Dr. Wolk has Nurse Practitioner Antoinette Ferry, ARNP as part of his team. She received her nursing degree from the University of Central Fl in 2004. After graduation she began her career in Labor and Delivery which fueled her passion for Women's health. She later returned to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is  a great part of the team.

You can find Dr. Wolk and his staff on Hibiscus blvd. in Melbourne Fl. You will not only love the location and office, but you will also love the friendly staff! Be sure to look for a few of our items next time you are in there.

Sunrise Maternity Session {Brevard County Maternity Photographer}

So as many of you know this year is my first year 100% in business. Besides my sweet precious boy, nothing else is taking up my time. I no longer have another job. I am not doing this part time to pass the time. I am 100% committed and giving it all I got and loving every minute of it. Part of the 100% is marketing. Marketing is a lot of work. You have to be out there for everyone to see you and notice you and that can take a lot of time, energy and money. (let's be honest) I wish had Morgan and Morgan's marketing budget...then everyone in FL would know about me. LOL

One of the things I did for marketing myself was create a magazine. I love the way it turned out. I use this magazine to leave with Dr. offices (thank you Dr. Wolk and Dr. Hayes for letting me drop one off with your offices) and I also left one with Motherhood Maternity. After all they are the only maternity store in the area. Halina the store manager took my materials even though we both knew that "corporate" would only allow her to do so much with them. I know this because it was the same at the bank.

Sydney, was recently shopping at Motherhood and asking about photographers and low and behold Halina had my material still and shared it with her. Sydney and her husband JD are newer to the area since he is stationed here for his service in the Airforce (thank you for your service...military members save 20% year round). I was ecstatic when she contacted me and told me that she was referred by Motherhood Maternity. It really means a lot when anyone refers me. So Sydney and I talked and planned the perfect sunrise maternity session.

Sydney had a vision of how she wanted her session to look. I showed her my gowns, many which she liked but just wasn't the one she was dreaming of. So together we hunted down the one she would want and I added a new dress to my collection! (You can see dresses I offer here). All maternity sessions have access to my gowns so you don't have to spend money on something you will never wear again. I love the gown she choose and it came with matching shorts. It's very flowy...which is perfect for the beach and it conceals too. So we met up at Paradise beach. I love this beach because it gives us several options besides just "beach". We had the most amazing sunrise too. It was perfect.

Sydney is just glowing in her images and JD is just as excited. I cannot wait to meet their sweet little girl in a few short weeks! Take a look at these beautiful images.

Maternity Session {Brevard County Maternity Photographer}

The Roark family have a lot to celebrate....a new baby on the way. This will be their third little boy and I cannot wait to meet him. I know he is going to be loved so much by his two older brothers and parents. If there's one thing I can attest to, it's that he will have lots of worms and dirt in his future. His big bothers are all boy and love getting dirty and having fun! I cannot wait to see the memories they create and capture a few a long the way for them.

A month ago, we met up to capture this sweet memory for them to cherish....waiting on baby Brecken. First off Momma looks amazing!!! She is just so beautiful as she carries the sweet baby inside her. We started off with some traditional family and couple poses then we transitioned to more intimate images of mom and belly. Cade insisted on hanging around while I took his momma's picture. He said she looked so pretty in my gown and he is sooo right! He was my special assistant too. He helped me throw the train up in the air to have a more flowy look and even took some pictures of his sweet momma. I LOVE LOVE LOVE when kids engage in photo sessions and want to help. It just helps grow their creativity too!

Maternity sessions are a great way to remember this season in your life. Carrying life is a gift and should be celebrated and remembered. The best time to have maternity images taken is usually around 30-33 weeks. I provide my clients with access to maternity gowns free of charge as part of their session fee. Are you expecting and want to capture this season of life? Let's chat. I want to help create timeless memories for you to cherish for years to come!
