Meet baby Luca {Brevard County Newborn Photographer}

Capturing your family during the newborn session is one of my favorite things to do. Family is soo important. And when it comes to living in Florida, I have learned that so many of us have been relocated here due to jobs, military or the weather. I am a rare breed since I was born and raised. Since so many are relocated that means family travels to see your new baby. So getting a picture is HUGE. Especially when they come overseas!

For this sweet family, they welcome Luca into this world and one set of grandparents traveled from out of the country to be here. Sadly enough, Luca's daddy was sick the day of the session. So we had to break family photos up into two sessions. While this is never the ideal thing to do, it is better than cancelling and not getting the out of town family members.

Luca was so sweet during his session and I loved all the set ups we were able to create for mom and dad. These truly are a gift to look back on and relive the moment. So much happens the first weeks of life that we cannot take it all in. So glad I can capture these moments for clients alike.

Meet sweet Kohen {Brevard County Photographer}

It has been a while since I did a blog and FOREVER since I actually did Kohen's photos. His mom came to me when he was about 3 months old. She used another photographer for his newborn photos and was not happy with them. After seeing her friend's photos of Luke, she reached out to me. Now I get to see sweet Kohen every 3 months. So that means more of this sweet face!

I loved his sweet expressions during his session. He was so alert and had the cutest little bald head. Typically, at three months they are just learning their personality. They begin to smile for more than just gas and interact with you and respond to your crazy little tickles and sayings. Tummy time is a big activity they are mastering, not always loving but making it work. So, this was the perfect age for him to come to my studio.

Newborns are always ideal around 2 maybe 3 weeks. Once they reach a month old, they can be a challenge to pose since they are so alert, less sleepy and not very good muscle control yet. Three months is the next milestone we like to capture followed by six, nine and one year. If you don't want to do all those milestones for your own, that's ok. We always suggest when baby has mastered sitting up on their own. Once they figure out crawling and walking, they never sit still again (well at least my child lol).
