Meet Baby Adelyn {Brevard County Newborn Photographer}

Rules are meant to be broken. That is something we hear a lot in the photography industry. There are rules for camera setting and lighting. But then there is the point that we are creating art and that there are no rules in art. So we are left to break the rules to create an image the way we want it. In addition, there are rules with newborn photography. There are some that should not be broken for instance the safety of the baby. But there are other rules that can be broken and stretched. One of those is the age of the baby. So many times a client will read that the baby needs to be around 2 weeks or younger to get ideal poses. And while this is highly suggested, sometimes it can't happen for whatever reason. I never want a new mom to feel deterred from newborn photos because they passed this time frame or didn't book ahead.

When Adelyn's mom contact me she was well past the 2 week mark. She was around 5 weeks. Many would say this is too old to get newborn styled photos, but I knew how important this was to mom. So when she was around 6 weeks old she came to my studio for her session. I am so glad mom didn't let her age stop her and she trusted me with this moment. We got so many amazing shots of her. And let me remind you she is 6 weeks old!!!

Mom brought her wedding veil and a clip she wore in her hair. I love how we were able to incorporate this into the session. It turned out so beautiful.  Check out the highlights below.
