Family Photos in the field {Brevard County Family Photographer}

I always love to see how God has his hand in our lives. How he brings people in at the exact moment he wants us to meet. There are those people who just inspire you and make this world a better place. This Hissam Family is that family. They are such a fun sweet family. Each with their own personality but all generous and full of love.

I met Aran through the March of Dimes. She was the ambassador family a few years ago and we got to connect and I got to learn about her amazing story. If you have been around with me for a while now, then you too have heard this story. I love any chance I can get to bring awareness to it.

You see Aran and Patrick were expecting a sweet little girl. They were overjoyed with happiness. At 18 weeks they received news they never wanted to hear. Their daughter would have a difficult pregnancy and most likely not come to term or survive. The most gut wrenching words anyone ever wants to hear. Their daughter, Brianna Marie had Fetal hydrops. A serious condition with abnormal accumulation of fluid on the lungs. Not only is it serious, but not popular either. Which means the medical industry didn't have a lot of information for them. Aran was able to work with some doctors and have several surgeries performed on Brianna while in utero. They placed stints in her lungs to help with the fluids. She unfortunately pulled some of them out. When Brianna Marie was born early, she lived an amazing 13 hours! Those 13 hours of life have had more impact on our world than some who live a long healthy life.

She was an angel that touched the lives of her family and sent a chain of events into motion. Aran has written a book to tell her story and started the Brianna Marie Foundation. They raise funds for the advancement of fetal issues just like this. Recently they awarded a grant of $50k to a university to study this condition. Is that not amazing or what!?!?!

The entire family helps with the organization and their annual 5k. Love to run or walk? Check out joining this wonderful event here.

Braden and Ryan are always a joy to work with. Ryan has the fun outgoing personality and Braden is more reserved. They love baseball and mom spends lots of time on the fields with them.

My most favorite quote from this session was from dad..."we got dressed up to stand in a field". Oh the things we make our families do for the right pictures. They were troopers.
