Christmas Minis!!

 It is crazy to think we have been planning Christmas mini's since July and now we are just one month away!! WOW That went super fast!!

I set the studio up the other day to grab some test shots. While we are pretty much sold out of spots, I wanted everyone to get a good feel of the backdrop and how to style your family for the photos. When I think of this backdrop, I think of tall boots, scarves and sweaters and warm colors. You can go with reds or cranberry red mixed with grey and cream. Or go with the blues and navy colors and add some green in the mix. Like traditional colors, they will work too. I will be sure to crank down the AC so no one is sweating and it feels like the snowy vibe it gives off. 

A Sweet Christmas! {Brevard Count Photographer}

I know the thought of Christmas makes me itch a little too. I feel like I finally recovered from the holidays. It is amazing how a kid makes it sooo much different. The good is the sweet memories through his eyes and the excitement he brings. The not so good is all the presents! Figuring out what to do with all these toys. AHHAHA

But that is behind us and we are embracing spring and the upcoming summer right?
Well kind of. I wanted to go back to this sweet session we did last year around the holidays for several reasons. First off it was so much fun. My sweet neighbor has the most beautiful kitchen and agreed to do a test shoot for 2019 baking Christmas photos. (I seriously cannot wait). I had to stage everything like they do on the TVs and make it look as if we baked an entire set of cookies. That would've taken longer than the actual shoot. So they decorated cookies I had baked the day before. Let me start off, I am NOT a baker. I dabble cluelessly with it. So the cookies I made were not the best. In fact the best part was when I promted everyone to take a bite of said cookies and it literally sounded like dad broke a tooth on the cookie. Needless to say we all die laughing.

I loved the way these images did turn out and I am looking forward to creating these fun memories again for 2019 and opening it up to my clients.

Valentine's Day 2019 {Brevard County Photography Studio}

Valentine's day is like the first commercial holiday after the holiday season of Christmas and New Years. It's one of those stress free holidays (or maybe just in my house since we don't do gifts). But I find it is also stress free because enough time has passed that you have forgotten the holiday stress from Thanksgiving to the new year.

These are always a fun session for me to do. I like to keep it simple and just focus on the cuteness of the little ones. And boy did we have some cuties this year! I loved seeing all their sweet face and the excitement over balloons! Seriously if you want to make your kid smile let them play with balloons!
