Samantha Turns 1 {Brevard County Cake Smash Photographer}

I hear it all the time, I didn't do the newborn photos with you so I want to do one year photos. It happens. We think we don't want the newborn photos or they seem out of our budget. Maybe it just never crossed your mind. I get it. But usually by the time your little one is ready to reach their first big one year milestone you realize the world of children photography and finally decide to go all in for photos. This really is a great time to do it.

One year sessions are FUN! I mean there is cake and bubbles...what not to love right? For Samantha's one year session mom decided on a bumble theme and I loved it. I created the set based off the cake and outfit mom had picked out. I hand painted the backdrop and it went perfectly. We added balloons and fresh flowers along with pom poms and we had the perfect set up.

Since they were long overdue for family photos, we added family photos to the session. I love giving my clients this option. It allows them to really get everything they want from a session. Then we did the cake smash and splash in the tub. We attempted a milk bath but she wanted nothing to do with it. She personally didn't care for any of the bath time but we made it work.

Most kids either love this or hate it. Just like Santa clause. Having multiple options during your session ensures that we will get something you will love from the session. <3
