Meet the Kellgren Family {Brevard Count Family Photographer}

Sometimes scheduling can be a nightmare. Trying to align everything perfectly can be a challenge in normal circumstances. Throw in some kids, a dad who travels with work, and a construction project during the holiday season and you are bound to have some issues. When Julie contacted me about her vision for her session, I LOVED it. They were building their forever home and wanted to document part of the process with photos. First, we tried for the land before ground broke, but heavy rains ruined that. Then we tried another date and sickness took out a few kids, dad had crazy travel plans with work and the construction was all over the place for timeless.

We finally met up and the house was actually just far along in the process to create some fun photos to remember this time. The builders had just framed the house so there were walls but no roof or drywall so the structure was perfect. It allowed up to showcase the building of the house and the family without the two competing. If you are building your dream house, this is definitely something to do.

I can't wait to see their finished home and see these images hanging on their walls. It will be there perfect conversation piece to have on their walls.

Family Photos in the Garden {Brevard County Photographer}

After working with Hadley and AJ for their maternity and newborn photos, their entire family was ready to have family photos done. I like to think in part it was their experience with me. But I also think it has to do with adorable little Ivy and everyone wanting to snuggle with her. I mean I don't blame them.

We met at the Botanical Gardens in November on one of the coldest days of the season I think. We were all cold. Poor little Ivy was a trooper. We were able to capture 4 generations together at one. It was so neat to see the entire family together and they love they all have for one another. The botanical gardens served as a wonderful backdrop for this session. It was perfect for the day and capturing this sweet family.

As I get older, I would give anything to have photos like this with loved ones that have passed on. Family really is the greatest blessing we have. Photographs preserve those memories so you can share their legacy for years to come. Don't wait for the perfect time to schedule your family sessions, commit to a date and let's make it happen.

Family Photos...fur baby and all! {Brevard County Photographer}

I am always interested in learning how new clients come across my photography business. For the Greene family, Cathy was attending a Serene Harbor event where one of my gift certificates was donated for the silent auction. She happened to place the winning bid. I love support local charities like Serene Harbor that spread awareness and support our local area. They are not a big name charity organization that sends all the money raised out to other areas, it stays right here to help local women and children. A cause we love to get behind and support.

Since she had the winning big Cathy wanted to do family photos over the holidays since she knew her two sons would be in town. And well her fur baby Stanley never leaves town. So he was down for family photos too. Including fur babies is always fun and an added element to the session. Stanley was so chill and did awesome.

We captured some great photos of this family at Wickham park. Loved the options we had from the beautiful oak trees, the trails, the fallen pine and the lake with a sunset. Couldn't have asked for a better day!
