Meet Baby Vela {Brevard County Newborn Photographer}

All babies are beautiful and special, but when your friend has a baby, there's a little more excitement involved. Shortly after Sam and Matt said I do, they announced a sweet little one would be coming soon. I was thrilled for them. I was even more thrilled when they found out they were having a little girl. One because Sam had always dreamed of a little girl and two because (selfishly) little girls are so much fun to take photos of.

If you haven't been part of a newborn session, they can be long. We work around the baby and feedings and diaper changes so they can be lengthy. When Sam and Matt showed up with Vela, it was the funniest thing. Mom and I were both excited to take photos and well, lets be real it is kind of boring for dads. So Matt was excited when we gave him permission to leave and come back for his part.

So Sam and I got to talk all things baby and birth and life while posing sweet Vela. She did so good for her session and we did some adorable set ups with her. She smiled several times for me. We even used an outfit that her mams wore when she was a baby. Plus we captured her first Christmas photos. I love when friends allow me the opportunity to capture this moment.
