Meet the Simkin Family {Brevard County Family Photographer}

You have 9 months to prepare for your child to enter into this world. It seems like a lot until you are at 8 months along and suddenly feel like you need another 9 months. Any one relate? Well you also have about 18 years...that's 940 Saturdays before your child graduates high school and leaves for the college. It seems like forever when you are in the beginning during those difficult toddler years but then suddenly you realize it has flown by and here you are preparing their graduation party!

The say the days are long but the years fly by...oh how true this is. Marilyn felt the same way as she prepared for her son to graduate. Her first son. Due to busy life and hurricanes graduation photos didn't go as planned for them. But Marilyn knew it was super important to get family photos taken before he graduated and headed off to college. I am so glad we were able to make this moment happen and capture these beautiful family memories for them to treasure for years to come.

Daniel's 3 month session {Brevard County Children Photographer}

Daniel has reached his three month milestone which means I get to spend some time with him once again. Daniel is part of the Baby plan I offer, which is a great way to get all these milestones captured. So that means I get to see Daniel at each stage to capture them before he moves on to the next one.

He rocked his newborn session so it was great to see him again. He grew quite a bit since then. He has quite the lovable personality too. He was all smiles and made my job super easy. Here's a few highlights from this session. I cannot wait to see him at 6 months!

Meet the Broomfield Family {Brevard County Photographer}

If I had to think back to when I first met the Broomfield family, my first memory is in kindergarten. I rode the bus home with Josh, Cindy's son. That was many many moons ago. We grew up in small town West Melbourne before there were sanctioned neighborhoods, we lived on streets. Our streets we just a few over from one another. Things have changed over the years with the town, the streets and the houses, but for this family some things haven't changed. Cindy still lives in their home in West Melbourne, their love for one another is stronger than ever and family still means everything to them.

Megan, has allowed me to capture sweet memories for her family for several years now. It was only a matter of time she would get the whole family together for a family session. They choose a field across the street from mom's house. There was even history in this field. It has changed over the years from a horse field to an empty field but the character and memories still remain as new ones with her kids are being made.

Capturing this family was no easy task as I had six boys to convince to sit and smile at the camera...no big deal right!? They were actually amazing and did so well. Even sweet Eli who hates to smile at me, gave me some pretty good ones. I love that we were able to capture all the dynamics of this family and provide them with an array of memories. One of those being their house pictured in back of the family photo. After all so many sweet memories were made here.

Family is one of the most cherished possessions you will ever have. You hear it all the time, that life goes by fast and things change. This is so true. I also hear from people that is has been YEARS since they last had a family photo....this saddens me. What if something happened and your family dynamics suddenly changed? Would you be sad that there were not current memories? Photographs are the only thing we have to pass down and tell future generations about us. So take the time to plan for family pictures.
