Elias is 6months old {Brevard County Photographer}

Boy does time fly. It seems like just yesterday Elias mama and I were risking out lives (literally) for some of the most breath taking maternity images just after the hurricanes. Now he we are 6 months later and sweet little Elias is growing so big!

He started off a little shy with his session, so we rolled with it. I got some sweet shots of him in mama's arms. GAH these are the images that just melt you. And so many times I wish I had more of these images of my son and I. Once he warmed up he had fun playing with the blocks and flashing that sweet smile of his. So much fun to watch these little ones grow up through my lens.

Awards highlight {Brevard County Photographer}

Earlier this year I entered some photos into a photography competition call Shoot and Share. This is a free competition to enter and they have different categories. Then when the voting is open, anyone can vote on the images. They randomly show the voter a series of images and you select the one you like most out of those 4 images.

Other photographers I know also entered this and they kept track of their ratings. I pretty much entered my photos, voted a few times and then just put it aside and forgot about it. Then those same photographers started to share their awards. So curiosity got the best of me. I never received an email or anything so I assumed I must not have done any good. Well low and behold I actually did better than I thought.

I had two images reach the top 10% and two reach the top 30%.  Here are the images below. Thanks to my amazing clients for being such great subjects to photograph.

Spring Mini Sessions {Brevard County Photographer}

Spring Mini's are by far my favorite all year. Everyone likes them. Mom's of course love getting their kids dressed fancy in spring time clothes, dads like that they don't have to be dressed up for pictures since it is just kids and kids love that we have live bunnies.

Now I know there are some concerns with live bunnies. These live bunnies are usually babies so they are smaller and are handled by Justin as he hands them to the kids and instructs them how to hold and interact with them. I personally have never had a child try to hurt them and vice versa.

The bunnies are loaned to us from Incredible Pets in Melbourne. Please go in and see them. They have all your pet needs especially exotic pets that you can't find every where.

This year all the kids had a great time. many of them wanted to take the bunnies home (sorry parents I am sure this was asked several times after you left too!) I am so thankful for a successful and fun day.
