I had a few minutes to quickly put one up as I was between ordering appointments and sessions. I looked back and I am still blogging from March. Is that bad? I think not. I think it may actually be ok that I am so behind. You see when we get our images these days they POP up on Facebook or our time hop apps etc and we instantly see the image, feel the emotion, remember the moment and then it is gone like a vapor. We move on to the 1000 other images we see and so forth. Before you know it we don't even look at these images. (Hence the reason I advocate printing them and displaying them in your home...but that is a blog for another day). So being a few months behind allows us to relive this moment over and take it all in again.
Karen had booked a beautiful beach maternity session. It was still a little cool from what I recall in March. We had beautiful sunlight for our session and the water was perfect too. This would be her first baby and she was over the moon with excitement to welcome her into her world. So documenting this time was important for her and dad to be. I know a lot of times maternity sessions are captured and then forgotten. We should capture them, and remember the beauty that surrounded us the days of our pregnancy. It truly is a beautiful sight to see a women with child like this. Karen was no exception. She was glowing with all the beauty that pregnancy brings.
I love that she choose the beach too. Since we forget how beautiful it really is an really helps capture the moment. Just like there are countless pieces of sand along there shore, there are countless moments to take in. And then there are those moments that we never want to forget. They are like the seashells we pick up and take home with us to treasure forever. May she always treasure these photos.
