Cake Smash Session! {Brevard County Children's photographer}

Celebrating the first year of your child is so much from. To think they started as a sweet newborn baby completely dependent on you and in 12 months they have developed strong personalities and a sense for independence that only gets stronger from here. So many changes happen in the first year it really is crazy. The saying: the days are long but the years fly by is such an accurate account of the first year.

Celebrating the first year with a cake smash session is such a fun way to highlight this exciting time. These sessions are an hour long and allow for a portrait session and cake smash session. This will give you a nice updated picture of your child and family as well as some great shots of them tearing into their cake.

Brooke was all smiles for here session. She was such a happy little girl. She was quick too. She moved fast so we acted fast. During her portrait session we got some great shots with each family member. These were taking at the field across from my studio. Love having that space so close. Then it was time for cake. She had fun but could care less about the cake overall. That's ok there weren't any tears so it was all good.Highlights from here session are below.

If your little one is getting ready to celebrate a milestone, please contact me to discuss the planning part. I work alongside you to create the exact vision you are trying to achieve. I want it to be personalized to your style and ideas. So let's chat!

Meet Baby Lilly {Brevard County Newborn Photographer}

When lilly's mom contacted me she was still early in her pregnancy. At this point they decided to leave the gender as a surprise. This was their 4th child so they thought they would wait. Well as she got closer to her due date the suspense was killing her mom so she found out she was having a girl. She immediately contacted me again to share the exciting news and to request her favorite girl colors.

Little girls really are so much fun to pose because there are so many options. We can dress them up more than we can with little boys. Lilly was an added bonus since she has a full head of beautiful jet black hair too.

Her family was all excited to welcome her too. All of her siblings just love giving kisses and holding her. Mom had a rough delivery and recovery, so we were able to incorporate some lifestyle shots in her room to make it easier on mom. I loved the way those shots turned out.

Lilly was such a dream to work with. All of her hair and her chunky cheeks...a photographers dream. Check out the highlights from her session.

Meet Baby Koa {Palm Bay Newborn Photographer}

I had the pleasure of working with Koa a few weeks ago. He had so much hair I was in heaven. When working with little boys lets be real our options are slim. Put a hat on take the hat off. Right? Girls we can put a bonnet on or a hat or a headband. So with him having all that hair I felt like I really didn't need to cover it with a lot of hats.

When mom and I were planning their session, she requested lots of neutral colors (swoon). Which I love because they keep it simple and focus on the baby. (I still love a little color every once in a while). She also requested a Hawaiian styled shot for the prop shot. Since she is part Hawaiian she wanted to spotlight some of their heritage. She was able to get a florist in Hawaii to send a handmade lei set overnight for her session. I loved the way it turned out and it fit him perfectly.

This was such a great session and we captured so many sweet memories for Koa's parents. I am so happy their sweet little addition is here and doing well. He really is a precious little boy! Check out the highlights from the session below.
